Ingredients:
| Name | Units | TIP |
|---|---|---|
| Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats | 2 cups | |
| Raw Seeds / Nuts, of your choice | 1 1/2 cups | 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans, 1/2 cup sunflower seeds, 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds |
| Raisins | 1/4 cup | or you can use dry cranberries |
| Ground Cinnamon | 1 teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 teaspoon | |
| Maple Syrup | 1/4 cup | |
| Coconut Oil | 1 tablespoon |
Steps:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, stir together the Oats, Nuts and Seeds, Salt, and Cinnamon. Pour in the Maple syrup and Coconut Oil. Mix everything well until every oat and nut is evenly coated with the sticky syrup.
- Transfer the mixture onto your prepared baking sheet. Use a large spoon to spread it into an even layer, ensuring the granola bakes uniformly.
- Bake for 21-24 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even crisping. Once golden and fragrant, remove the granola from the oven. After cooling, mix in the dried raisins.
- Break the granola into large chunks if you prefer extra-clumpy pieces, or stir it around with a spoon for a looser texture. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 to 2 weeks.
- This granola can be enjoyed with milk, yogurt, or as a topping for smoothies. It’s a great way to start the day or satisfy your cravings with a wholesome, crunchy treat!
