Healthy Granola Recipe
I love granola! There's just something magical about it—every crunchy bite feels like a little celebration of wholesome goodness. It's the perfect blend of textures: crispy oats, nutty seeds, chewy dried fruits, and that subtle sweetness tying it all together. Granola is also so versatile! Whether I'm sprinkling it over creamy yogurt, pairing it with fresh fruit, or just snacking on it straight from the jar, it never disappoints. Plus, knowing it's packed with healthy ingredients makes it even better—fuel for the day and a treat all in one. And let's not forget how fun it is to customize! Adding a handful of dark chocolate chips for a dessert-like twist or swapping in seasonal flavors like pumpkin spice or dried cherries makes it endlessly exciting. So yes, granola and I are absolutely besties in the kitchen! How about you—do you have a favorite way to enjoy it?

Ingredients:

NameUnitsTIP
Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats2 cups
Raw Seeds / Nuts, of your choice1 1/2 cups
1/2 cup walnuts or pecans, 1/2 cup sunflower seeds, 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
Raisins1/4 cup
or you can use dry cranberries
Ground Cinnamon1 teaspoon
Salt1/2 teaspoon
Maple Syrup1/4 cup
Coconut Oil1 tablespoon

Steps:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together the Oats, Nuts and Seeds, Salt, and Cinnamon. Pour in the Maple syrup and Coconut Oil. Mix everything well until every oat and nut is evenly coated with the sticky syrup.
  3. Transfer the mixture onto your prepared baking sheet. Use a large spoon to spread it into an even layer, ensuring the granola bakes uniformly.
  4. Bake for 21-24 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even crisping. Once golden and fragrant, remove the granola from the oven. After cooling, mix in the dried raisins.
  5. Break the granola into large chunks if you prefer extra-clumpy pieces, or stir it around with a spoon for a looser texture. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 to 2 weeks.
  6. This granola can be enjoyed with milk, yogurt, or as a topping for smoothies. It’s a great way to start the day or satisfy your cravings with a wholesome, crunchy treat!
