Steps:

  1. Start by gathering all the ingredients you need for this recipe. Measure and prepare each ingredient to streamline the cooking process.
  2. Place the Walnuts (½ cup) in a blender and pulse until finely chopped. Add the Rolled Oats (200 gr), Salt (½ tsp), and Baking Powder (1 tsp) to the blender.
  3. Blend until the mixture reaches a fine consistency.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the room-temperature Butter ( 113 gr ) with the light brown Sugar (⅓ cup) until the mixture is light and fluffy. Add the Egg and Vanilla Extract (½ tsp) to the butter and sugar mixture. Continue to beat until fully incorporated.
  5. Gradually mix the finely blended dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until well combined.
  6. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the dough for at least 2 hours to firm up.
  7. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop rounded portions of dough (about 15 scoops) onto the prepared baking sheet and flatten slightly.
